Amy is the founder of Aureus Advantage, a transformation partner for wealth firms navigating M&A, platform evolution, and strategic growth. Amy brings a rare combination of real-world operating experience and actionable strategy.
Her Experience
Amy has built, led and scaled multiple multi-billion-dollar wealth firms, designed and implemented enterprise platforms, and executed over 60 M&A transactions. She’s worked across the industry, from product strategy at BlackRock to platform transformation and integration leadership at Focus Financial Partners.
As Chief Experience Officer at Connectus Wealth (Focus Financial Partners global corporate wealth platform), she designed and integrated the global wealth platform and drove growth from zero to $13 billion AUM in under three years.

At Aureus Advantage, Amy advises wealth firms, family offices, and wealthtech firms on M&A strategy, integration, platform scalability, and vision.
She also serves as a Venture Partner at Thicket Ventures , where she sources, evaluates, and accelerates the next generation of wealth tech startups alongside institutional investors.
Amy is also a well-known industry voice and frequent keynote speaker and panelist on M&A, platform and industry evolution, and innovation in wealth management.

Tia Geurts brings 20 years of operational leadership to Aureus Advantage and is the behind-the-scenes force that helps us run efficiently and deliver world-class service to our clients. Prior to joining Aureus, Tia spent nearly 18 years as the Vice President of People and Operations for a SaaS company, and has served in various executive leadership positions with growing professional service firms. Tia graduated magna cum laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She lives in the heart of Phoenix with her husband and their two young boys.
